12 April 1906 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 12th [April 1906]. Typed & wrote in morning. Canon & Mrs Ragg called after lunch. I took the Canon with me as I was just going out. Mrs R. went on her own way. The Canon & I went on to the Venezia Murano to see the Memorial windows wh have arrived for our church. One I am putting up for Henry & one Lady Radnor to Wotton—English Ambr to the Venetian Republic. Gave orders about placing them. I went on to the Hospital to take over some more furniture & finished arranging the paying Pat: room, wh looked very comfortable & is to be used tomorrow by a French lady. Iduna Bel: came to see me after tea. Went to bed very tired this evening. | |
