13 May 1906 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Sunday. 13th [May 1906]. The Princess & I went to morning service & took with us Mme Malagola who last night had expressed a desire to see an English church & service. She expressed herself as impressed by the decorum & the music but thought that the simplicity & want of attractiveness must not appeal to the uneducated. After tea I took Seckendorff & his cousin for a turn in gondola.
