Saturday. 12th [May 1906]. Mr Hulton came to see me in the morning to receive the £40 the Queen has sent me for our Sailor’s institute here. It is a timely help we were much in need of. Seckendorff lunched out. I took the Princess over to the Hospital & the Eden’s garden. Signor & Signora Malagola dined with us. | |
