5 July 1906 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 5th [July 1906]. Again the sad day has come round! The weather matched my feelings. It was raining nearly all day. At 4 Malagola came to fetch me & we walked to the Zattere & took the steamer across to the Giudecca & went to the hospital– Malagola visited his relation & I did business with Sister Chaffey. We took the steamer to S. Marks on returning. It poured as we went but cleared as we returned. | |
