16 December 1906 — Bessborough, Fiddown, County Kilkenny | |
Sunday. 16th [December 1906]. I walked to church in the morning with the Bessboros, Gweneth & Bertie & went again at 4 oclock with Blanche. On Monday Irène & Jack came over from Mount Congreve to stay here for Christmas. Another day Vere arrived & another Myles so the party was complete. It was hot & muggy & rainy the first days but gradually got colder. I was 2 days in bed with a chill. | |
