16 January 1907 — 3 Savile Row
Wednesday. 16th [January 1907]. I walked out to pay some calls round the neighbourhood of Mayfair. Found Mrs Poynter in & sat a while with her & then went on to Adeline Bedford who I also was lucky eno’ to find in. Bessborough dined with me having arrived in town yesterday. Blanche follows later from Ireland. We had much talk over the family & especially Cornelia’s new craze for politics &c &c. Oranmore left directly after dinner for Ireland.
