31 May 1907 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 31st May [1907]. Had a hard morning’s work with Nora over the enamelling. After lunch I went to see Angela Reinelt & was joined there later by Connie & Nora & we went on to the Piazza to have tea with the Leverton Harris at Quadri’s. We sat a little while with them & Nora & I walked home leaving Connie to return in gondola. We all 3 dined with Sr Arbib at La Catrina on the platform overlooking the water. The Harris, Mr Woods R.A., we 3, the Belmondo pair & 2 Arbib girls were the party. We sat sometime after dinner talking over cigarettes & coffee. | |
