28 June 1907 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Friday. 28th [June 1907]. I had a head ache all day which made me so stupid that I could do nothing but sew & read. At 6 I went out with Angela as usual to the Public gardens & again after dinner I went to the Calcina & sat there till past 11 as we have instituted this summer. Arbib, the Guggenheim family, Belmondos, Malagolas were there & 2 old ladies known as the Contessa Scopoli whom I did not know before.
