24 September 1907 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Tuesday. 24th [September 1907]. I went down in the morning to take leave of Venturi who has finished his work in the gallery & leaves today for Rome. I had a large reception in the evening of “foresti” amongst them Lady Ormonde & P. Teck & Sister Chaffey. I sold a good many of the Venetian bead chains I make for the benefit of the hospital & P. Teck took much interest in them & expressed a wish to see the hospital & I offered to take him there tomorrow.
