5 November 1907 — Rome | |
Tuesday. 5th [November 1907]. I drove with Lady E. in afternoon & she took me to see Doña Maria Grazioli nata Savaggi who have built themselves a beautiful big villa here. The house was very well & comfortably furnished with a central hall in which was a music gallery & organ. The Donna Maria’s two girls were there nice looking & all speaking English perfectly. She herself was very pleasant & courteous. | |
