11 March 1908 — 3 Savile Row
Wednesday. 11th [March 1908]. Breakfast downstairs. Sent Nellie to order more Venetian glass & Baker to arrange it & so I did not go to 35 Gros: Sqr till after lunch when the sale had begun. Eda did not go today but Connie took the chains stall & Betty Murray the Venetian glass. There were not so many people at the sale as yesterday & £10 was taken at the door. We returned at 6 very tired. Raymond & Isabel Layard went to the theatre in the evening & the rest of us did accounts & counted up money all the evening. We found we had abt £112 including cheques.
