26 April 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Sunday. 26th [April 1908]. I went to morning service with the Vivians. Nellie remained at home to entertain the Griscoms who were preparing to leave after lunch. They got off after much fuss, being a large party—& tho’ Venice had not shown herself to them at her best they had admired it immensely & were sorry to leave. Abt 6.45 Count Seckendorff & Princess Thurn & Taxis arrived to stay with me.
