25 April 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 25th [April 1908]. A cold rainy day. After lunch took the Griscoms to the Piazza & there we sat & had tea under the Procuratie. Went to shop & spent many moments at the jewellers where Lady Vivian was bargaining for a pearl necklace for her girl. I was taken faint at dinner in the evening & had to make a sudden exit & go to bed. | |
