24 April 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 24th [April 1908]. Very sudden cold weather. Took the Griscoms out in the morning—we went to V. & Murano glass shop at San Vio to meet the Bülow party who wanted to buy some specimens. Charlie Wyld & Sir John Craggs were there also & we spent a long morning not returning till lunch when the various members of our party all met again. In the afternoon I took the old Griscoms to see the Eden’s garden. | |
