31 May 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Sunday. 31st May [1908]. Went to morning service with Ola & Aline afterwards went to see Angela Reinelt at Hotel Victoria & home for lunch– At 3 went to the meeting of the Blue Cross in the Pal: Morosini when Mme Pezzè Pascolato read out statistics of past & plans for future. There was but a small attendance. The Society has done well & carried 1269 people this year– The whole account is encouraging. I got home at 4.30. Princess Clarg & her sister Pss Raznoll came to tea. Later Lady Helen Vincent came to see me. The weather became suddenly better today. Ola went to tea with Mme Wiel. I sent out Sir Arthur Fanshawe with Aline after tea in gondola & they enjoyed it.
