2 June 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Tuesday. 2nd June [1908]. Not much to chronicle today. It was a heavy scirocco wh I felt on my head & did very little all day. At tea time had a visit from Mr & Mrs Samuelson who have just arrived in their yacht. Went for a row with Aline afterwards—seeing Lady Blanche & the Perpigna people landing at the Piazza we did the same & walked in the Piazza with them. My usual reception in the evening which was numerously attended. It was a very hot night.
