10 July 1908 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Friday. 10th [July 1908]. A pouring wet day. Ivor not so well & I never saw him till tea time. Freddy came for the night & Corise eldest son George Rodney came with a schoolfellow called Westmacott & they dined here & slept at the cottage. I had settled to go to London tomorrow with Freddy but seeing Cornelia so distressed about Ivor I offered to stay on till Monday. The boys & Freddy were at dinner. The boys played billiards while Miss Anderson & I played patience in the evening. | |
