9 July 1908 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Thursday. 9th [July 1908]. Rainy day. In the morning it held up & I took a walk with Cornelia up to the kitchen garden & round the park. Lunch with Miss Anderson. It poured all the afternoon. Cornelia went off to a political meeting. I read to Ivor after tea. He was very feeble & distressed. But he walked several times up & down the hall on my arm & then went up to his room more calm. | |
