30 August 1908 — Castel Savoia, Gressoney St. Jean
Sunday. 30th [August 1908]. It was a pouring wet day—constant violent showers. The Queen went to mass in motors after which there was no more going out. Yesterday Senatore Blaserna joined the party to stay. He is a very stout little man with bald head & white beard. A party came from the village to have tea this afternoon. A couple called Greppi—another whose name I did not catch & a young lady.
