22 November 1908 — San Antonio Palace, Malta | |
Sunday. 22nd [November 1908]. No one went to church today. There was a large lunch party of 14, Mme Pornis amongst the guests. Adl & Col. & Miss Hughes Hallott. I sat next the Adl & found he had been at Besika Bay while I was there. He is also a great friend of Sir Edwin Egerton so we had much to say to each other. Tho’ the day was stormy Myles & I decided to take a walk to call on Mrs la [illegible word]. We however drove there & walked back. | |
