5 December 1908 — Rome | |
Saturday. 5th December [1908]. I left Rome by 9.30 train. The good chancery servant came to see me off also for the last time. I had a good journey & arrived at Venice at 9.50 very glad to find myself at home once more & to sleep in my own bed. | |
