12 March 1909 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 12th [March 1909]. I went to see Bss Reinelt & thence to the Hospital. Found that Creighton is going to leave for England on Monday after being a patient there for several months. He is a Chief Engineer on a ship & comes from Newcastle a most respectable man but with health shattered & having undergone a dangerous operation. We all take great interest in him. | |
