Friday. 26th [March 1909]. I took the Hellmans to Mrs Eram’s to look at the furniture she has to sell– She was not in such a hurry to get rid of her things as she was. The poor thing is still confused as to her future plans. This evening Oscar Guest arrived from England to stay. He was accompanied by his “coach” Mr Talboys. They came after 12 so I did not wait up to see them. | |
