Saturday. 27th [March 1909]. I went off early to San Daniele & did not see Oscar till lunch time– In the afternoon Sigr Cortina came to see me to make another proposal from Sig. Barbon about buying back the V. Murano Co from Newgass. I said I could do nothing without the advise of a lawyer & told him to go to Avv. Franco (who I am sure will tell me to have nothing to do with it). | |
