25 June 1909 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 25th [June 1909]. Worked at enamelling hoping to finish the glass frame before I leave. Lunched with Bss Reinelt who is leaving Venice next Monday. Bss Ritter was there specially invited to eat some of the Bologna sausage I had brought to Angela R. from my late journey & Mr Ho: Brown dined with me. His mother still lingers on—even rather better. She is wonderfully strong in constitution & may now hang on for months—a thing not to be desired by the poor son. | |
