24 July 1909 — Carlsbad | |
Saturday. 24th [July 1909]. Our last day at Carlsbad. Breakfast at Kaiserpark with Pss Stephanie & we also went to tea with her at the Freundschaff’s Sol in the afternoon. I called for Mara Cappelli & took her there to meet the rest of the party. She was taken ill & nearly fainted during tea time but recovered & I landed her safely home & then paid a farewell visit to Dss Melzi. Found her just going off with her English maid to drink the waters at the Muhlbrunnen so I accompanied her there & back to the Schild. | |
