3 September 1909 — Lutterworth | |
Friday. 3rd [September 1909]. We went into the church to see the bronze monument to the late Rector wh has just been put up by his children. I do not like it. It has a high relief head very awkwardly looking down as into a hole & the lettering is so slightly engraven that it will soon be obliterated. | |
