26 January 1910 — 3 Savile Row
Wednesday. 26th [January 1910]. I drove with Kate to Mr Westlake’s in a taxi cab & deposited her there & went on to 8 Up. Cheyne Row to work at enamels. Returned home by lunch time. Mrs Rate had promised to dine with us to day but wrote to say she was not well eno’ to come. I had invited Mr Ernest George to meet her. Kate went to the theatre with Augusta Gregory so the Wylds, Mr George & I made a litte parti carré. He is a nervous little man & not very amusing—but is kindly.
