Friday. 25th [February 1910]. Connie came to lunch—& while she was there the post brought me Blanches’ cheque which I handed over to her. Evely came to tea & I told her what we had done & urged her to try & help her mother in the management of the house. Myles Ponsonby telephoned to say he was in town & proposed to come & dine & we were very glad to have him. He is always charming. | |
