2 July 1910 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Saturday 2nd [July 1910]. Worked in morning at correcting proofs of my mothers Ceramic Notes & saw Mr Price who came to say he is leaving Venice for the country on Monday. As he will come down every Saty till Monday I have told him he can sleep in this house. In the afternoon Lord Anglesey, Lady Ingestre & Mrs Beckett came to tea & also Mr Whitaker & afterwards I took them over to the Eden’s garden with which they were delighted. In the evening Ola & Miss Bowyer went out in gondola. I had a visit from Mara Cappelli whom I had met at Carlsbad & she enjoyed a chat–
