Monday. 11th [July 1910]. The Engineer came in the morning to talk over the plans for heating of the hospital. Mr Price left for Belluno after lunch. I went out afterwards to see Lady Ingestre on board the “Semiramis” & thence to Hotel d’Italie to call for Mara Cappelli & took her out with me in gondola. Over to the Edens garden– In the evening Malagola & his wife came in to see me—also Cav. S. Arbib who has just returned from visiting his daughter in Tripoli. | |
