30 November 1910 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 30th [November 1910]. I went over to the hospital learning that our dear Italian nurse who is ill with typhoid was worse. I found her dying surrounded by her family. She knew me & I took leave of her. She was such a good woman & an excellent nurse & very handsome & dignified in manner. She will be a great loss to us all. She died in the evening. | |
