19 April 1911 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 19th [April 1911]. Went to the vestry meeting at the church. It was proposed we should subscribe & put up a window in memory of the late Bishop of Gibraltar. Out with Eda afterwards to Edens garden where the fruit blossoms are in their beauty– Eda went with the Whitakers to Lamoureux concert at the Fenice theatre & dined with them. I dined alone & was playing patience in the evening when Mr Montalba came in & spent an hour talking about hospital accounts. He is our Treasurer. | |
