Thursday. 8th [June 1911]. Charlie brought a Mr Wanklen to luncheon—a gentleman who has been an M.P. & who now is retired & one of the Directors of Ranelaghs Club. I drove out late & went to an afternoon musical party given by Susan Lady Malmesbury—& left a few cards. Sir Edwin & Lady Egerton & my sister Blanche & Gweneth her girl dined with me. | |
