14 June 1911 — 3 Savile Row | |
Wednesday. 14th [June 1911]. This evening I went to Mrs McDonald’s box at Covent Garden to see “Mme Butterfly.” A very full house—quite a brilliant scene. The music is interesting & sometimes fine. The prima donna Mme Destin who has a magnificent voice & is a fine actress– She was greatly applauded. | |
