Friday. 16th [June 1911]. Recovered. Lunched at the Ritz Hotel with Mrs Almiria Paget who took a party to the Concert given at Queens Hall by Miss Harrison the ’cellist with orchestra accompaniment. She acquitted herself bravely & was very much applauded. Only 18 years old she has wonderful execution & feeling & deserved her success. This evening it rained after weeks of drought– Connie dined with me. | |
