Wednesday. 28th [June 1911]. Mme Waddington turned up at tea time bringing with her Pss Ruspigliosé (USA). Mrs McDonald whom I had known in Egypt brought Marquis de Talleyrand the actor. In the evening I took Eda & Nela to the Conversazione at the Royal Academy—a tremendous crush but rather amusing– The pictures indifferent & a very bad portrait of Lord Kitchener by Collyer– Saw the Bishop of Peterboro & Lady May Glyn & the Fildes– | |
