20 October 1911 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 20th [October 1911]. Spent the morning in the studio with Olga chatting & working. Guido Malagola came to photograph Lady Winifred Gore & Nela in the morning. Mrs Curtis came to call in the afternoon & advised my young people to go to see Cimarosa’s Matrimonio Segreto wh is to be sung at the Malibran theatre tomorrow. There was a great playing of patience in the evening after dinner. | |
