24 February 1912 — Cairo | |
Saturday. 24th [February 1912]. With the greatest regret we left Cairo. Capt. Fitz accompanied us to the station & we left by 9.40 train for Alexandria. Mr Ralli went with us also returning to Europe. We embarked on the Prince Heinrich (German Lloyd) at 2 p.m. & started almost at once. The sea was calm & we were able to dine at table—the next day was less pleasant & I did not get thro’ the dinner– | |
