22 April 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 22nd [April 1912]. Young Mr Rodd a boy of 15 arrived from Munich to meet his parents Sir Rennell & Lady Rodd who arrived just after lunch from Rome to stay with us for this week’s fêtes. I took them out in the gondola later. We went to the Piazza & walked about & then sat at Florian’s & had tea. Our party is now complete & we are 10 souls in the dining room. In the evening . | |
