Friday. 26th [April 1912]. The Rodds left by 9 p.m. train for Rome. I sent the young people to the Opera—a sort of Gala Performance & I had to pay 350 for the box—the prices this week being enormous. The Duchess & I stayed at home quietly. The wind is very cold. | |
