4 July 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 4th [July 1912]. Clara Montalba came at 11 to see me & stayed on so long talking that I got her to stay & lunch with me at 1. At 4 I went to pay a visit to Angela Reinelt at Hotel Victoria & thence went to the Giudecca to attend a meeting of the International Hospital in the Eden’s garden—at 5 going past the Zattere I saw Mr Montalba & picked him & took him there also. Mr Price, & Mme Pezzè Pascolato joined us & we did the business after wh I conveyed the latter to her home. | |
