8 August 1912 — 3 Savile Row | |
Thursday. 8th [August 1912]. Lionel Guest came to luncheon with us. I had not seen him for years since he went away to Canada & married & since he married. I was always fond of him– He is more of a Guest than the rest of his family who take more after the Churchills. In the evening we dined at home & then went to the Haymarket Theatre to see the Scotch actors do “Bunty pulls the strings.” It is very well acted & very amusing. | |
