4 February 1861 — Cambridge | |
Monday. 4th February 1861. Got up and went to breakfast with the boys.* We parted with the Berties & Kate who went to town by the 1 ocl. train. After waiting at “the rooms” a little time Mother took me back to the Bull and we went to the 5 ocl. train. There we met the Hennikers & travelled up with them getting in at 12 ocl.– I forgot to say that we went to luncheon at H-Majors & met P. Hambro, Douglas Henniker etc– *N.B. I have made a mistake on Sunday we gave a breakfast at the Bull and Monday we went to “The rooms,” to breakfast. EG. | |
