21 March 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Friday. 21st [March 1862]. Down to breakfast. Ecca did not get up until after breakfast. Changed Mudies books. Went with Ecca, Con: and Blan: to the dancing academy. I wanted very much to have waltzed also but intend doing so when next I go if I can. I have asked Amy Martin to dance with me– After the academy we went to have tea with the Martins (taking Eleanor home in our carriage). We had tea and a very merry eveng some playing and a great deal of fun– Left at 8½ and arrived home at 9¼ found a letter from Blossett & do. Mrs Layard– Went to bed 9½. | |
