10 July 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Thursday. 10th [July 1862]. I went up in morng to do some printing, helped to distribute. In afternoon worked at Kates shirt and went with Temmy to see old Mr Pond and then went to see Lady Louisa’s children—& on to tea at Mrs Pynes. The Ponsonby’s also came in to the Pynes to tea– Got home rather late and they were just going in to dinner when Arthur let us in. I wrote to Ria and FEB in Mr P’s office—worked at Kates shirt in eveng and did a little printing– Bed very late, Elizabeth put me to bed. | |
