18 July 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Friday. 18th [July 1862]. I practised, wrote & read in morng. had a bad headache– After lunch B, C & Ecca went in the sociable to Bourne taking Margaret with them. I sat out on the lawn & had tea after having done a little printing, went to the garden & had some gooseberries, did not go down to dinner & had a bath in the eveng, to bed early. | |
