20 July 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Sunday. 20th [July 1862]. Down to breakfast. Cecil did the duty both morng & eveng– He preached in morng from 1 Samuel’s XV–20 v. & in afternoon fm Psm 23rd. We had tea at 5 oclock & then he set off to Kinson– I went off for a walk with EK—we went to the garden to look for B & Con– Found C. at Mrs Pynes & Blanche in the garden– After went round home all together by Mrs Whitelocks—went to enquire at the Ponsonbys & saw Ethel & Arthur. | |
