23 July 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Wednesday. 23rd [July 1862]. Mr Hambro & Montie went off at 9 oclock before I was down. I had a very bad headache & did nothing in the morng. I lay down on my bed the whole afternoon till tea time when I went to the hall– I was going out with Kate but being too ill went to bed at 6 oclock– Was dreadfully sick & ill but slept after a time & passed a good night. | |
