13 August 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Wednesday. 13th [August 1862]. FEB went off by the 1st train to go on board the Lark. I did not see her off. I printed all the morng & finished off no. 13 of the Portland Times & sent them off. I drove out with Uncle Lindsey Mankie & Temmy. Ivor rode with B & C. We went to the Pynes. I played chess with Mr Flamanck but was beaten– | |
